TUMOR METASTASES TO THE LIVER
Tuesday, December 4th, 2007Metastases constitute the bulk of hepatic malignancies and most commonly derive from tumors of the stomach, pancreas, colon, lung, oropharynx, and bladder and from melanoma. The liver is also a frequent site of involvement by Hodgkin’s disease, non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma, and malignant histiocytosis.
