TUMOR METASTASES TO THE LIVER

Metastases constitute the bulk of hepatic ma­lignancies and most commonly derive from tu­mors of the stomach, pancreas, colon, lung, oro­pharynx, and bladder and from melanoma. The liver is also a frequent site of involvement by Hodgkin’s disease, non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma, and malignant histiocytosis.
